The new LOVE of my life!

Meet my new best buddy - he who keeps my feet warm at night, he who is so happy to see me when I come in the door, he who makes me laugh every day . . . and he who has driven me crazy trying to house break. His name is Spencer and he is a Maltese puppy. I have to say I am almost potty trained - hope he catches on soon.

MY SPUR OF THE MOMENT DECISION TO VISIT OMAHA!!!

On Friday I made a spur of the moment decision and decided to fly out to Omaha to see Dave's Investiture of the White Coat Ceremony. So I hopped on a plane on Saturday and got to Omaha that night. I am staying with Carissa (my granddaughter) and her family. I am having such a great time with the greats and the grand.




I attended church in Council Bluffs, IA.
We got to tour the dental clinic at Creighton University and see where Dave spends most of his days.


We went to the botanical gardens that are right next to Carissa's house. It was HOT- but pretty!



Then we got to attend the ceremony when Dave received his white coat symbolizing he has finished his first years of study and now will move on to his clinical part of school where he will practice dentistry. We are sure having FUN. I am glad I was able to experience this and see where the kids live.

Bill, Julie, and Shannon were in Washington last weekend for their Dad's funeral. They had a great time visiting with Betty and her gang and checking out their old haunts.

I had a wonderful day at the Salt Lake Temple yesterday with Dave and Jo for Rich's wedding. They make such a cute couple and I know they are going to be really happy together.

I've been hearing some whoppers lately

I love playing with the great grandkiddies. I kept hearing how fussy Meili was but she was nothing but smiles for me. Hmmmmm. I think they're telling me whoppers!

Meili is in Utah right now visiting, and trying to be sealed to her family. So I got to share the afternoon with them. Tyler and Meili are so fun! I love to spoil them.

My Grand Adventure to Hawaii!

I went to Hawaii in August with Carissa and Shannon to help when Carissa and Dave adopted their little girl Meili.

This is Brennen and Alison Thorne's little boy Camden. He loves to do whatever his daddy is doing - snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, whatever.
